The Handshake Process

Connecting a site requires generating a secure key in the Central Hub and entering it in the Client plugin.

Step 1: Central Hub

1. Go to TOOL1 Hub > Manage Sites (or View Sites > Manage).
2. Click the Add New Site button.
3. Enter a name for the site (e.g., "My Blog") and click Generate API Key.
4. Copy the generated API Key immediately.

Step 2: Client Site

1. Log in to the child site.
2. Go to Settings > TOOL1 Hub.
3. Enter the Central Hub URL (the URL of your main site).
4. Paste the API Key you copied.
5. Click Activate & Connect.

If successful, you will see a green "Active" status on both sites.
